When Thais buy cars, cost performance is still king. At present, domestic cars in Thailand have shown a similar state of white-hot internal competition in China.
But in the end, be cautious in price wars.
- Indonesia

BYD's unpopular MPV was the best-selling model in Indonesia in October, with 1,866 units sold in October. Wuling Sunny Sky ranked second with 831 units sold. BYD has a strong growth momentum in Indonesia, but Wuling is still the brand with the highest market share in Indonesia's pure electric stock.
At present, the competition in Indonesia's pure electric market is mainly between domestic brands and South Korea's Hyundai, and the most competitive is the competition between domestic cars. So, can BYD break through Wuling's position in Indonesia this year?

- Singapore
In October, the sales volume of Chinese electric vehicles in Singapore totaled 813 units, accounting for 68.7% of the market share.
Xpeng has ranked among the top three pure electric new car sales in Singapore in just two months of delivery, and its momentum is very strong.
A model currently on the market that is comparable to the model Y has already caught up with Tesla's monthly sales in Singapore. It entered in late July and was delivered at the end of August. At the beginning of this month, a new showroom was opened, covering an area of 800 square meters and a total of two floors.
- Uruguay
As long as Chinese cars are there, small countries will also roll inward.
In October, the sales volume of Chinese electric vehicles in Uruguay totaled 443 units, accounting for 91.7% of the market share.
The starting price of the top 10 pure electric cars in Uruguay is between 18,000 and 59,000 US dollars. The cheapest one is Dongfeng Nano 01, and the best-selling BYD Seagull is only about 21,000 US dollars. Chinese cars have blown the price war to Latin America.
The Uruguayan market prefers SUV models, and 9 of the top 10 sales are SUVs.
Uruguay is a small country with a small automobile market, with an average of about 60,000 new cars per year. From the data that can be tracked in 2023, electric car sales have grown exponentially.
In October, Uruguay sold a total of 483 pure electric cars. BYD dominates 75% of the electric vehicle market share in Uruguay, and 3 models entered the top 10 in October.
In addition to BYD, Chinese brands such as Dongfeng, Chery, Geometry and Zeekr are also active in Uruguay.
- Mexico
Without BYD, the existence of Chinese electric vehicles is undeniable.

Mexico is the largest and most competitive auto market in Latin America, but electrification started late. It was not until 2021 that electric vehicle sales began, mainly plug-in hybrid vehicles.
In the past three years, electric vehicle sales have continued to grow year-on-year, and BEV has shown explosive growth, with a 400% increase in 2022 and a 300% increase in 2023.
Chinese manufacturers and established American manufacturers are the main competitors in the Mexican electric vehicle market. In October, Mexico's pure electric vehicle sales (excluding BYD, Tesla and SEV, estimated to account for half of Mexico's electric vehicle market) were 1,034.
JAC also has several good models in Mexico. The best-selling one in October was the MPV, followed by the mini country man and Renault niro.
Even without BYD, the presence of Chinese brands on the Mexican pure electric list is undeniable.

When Brazilians buy cars, they mainly look at the price-performance ratio. At present, if domestic cars want to occupy a place in the Brazilian pure electric market, they must launch a new car that is less than 110,000 reais (140,000) to compete with BYD Seagull.

The starting price of the top 10 pure electric vehicles in Denmark is between 240,000 and 470,000 Danish kroner, and Xpeng G6 is more expensive than Tesla Model Y. Danes have a special liking for SUVs, and the top 10 best-selling models in October are all SUVs.

In October, Denmark sold 9,262 pure electric vehicles. Tesla lost its glory and fell from the first to the fourth. Volkswagen began to exert its strength. Xiaopeng G6 is the only domestic model in the top 10 (excluding Volvo EX40).
I remember that Xiaopeng Denmark is a direct sales model. It seems that opening direct stores overseas can also produce good results.
- Poland
