I recently saw the Star Era E08 at the Guangzhou Auto Show. I couldn't sit still as soon as this car debuted!

The 20-year-old car review was stunned.

Chery really made a big move this time. Not only did it say it would build a "Chinese version of Alphard", it also came up with a 100,000 user co-creation plan. This operation is the first time I have seen it.

What's even more amazing is the music headrest system. The atmosphere lights in the car can also change with the rhythm of the music. It really took a lot of effort. The three rows of seats are all independently designed, and each seat can be adjusted. You can lie down however you want. Business reception, taking children out for a trip, and self-driving travel are all no problem.

⚙️ Performance configuration is sincere

In terms of power, it provides two options: pure electric and extended range, which are aimed at different user needs. iATS all-terrain system is equipped with rear-wheel steering technology. This combination is the top configuration in the same class. A full set of high-end intelligent driving assistance systems are arranged, so there is no need to worry about long-distance driving on the highway.

What surprised me most was the chassis tuning. During the test drive, I clearly felt that the suspension was comfortable. When passing speed bumps and potholes, I could hardly feel the bumps in the car. This is the most important tuning direction for MPVs. Chery really understands users this time.

💡 The co-creation plan is very innovative

To be honest, I have seen many car companies conduct user research, but this is the first time that Chery has done such a big deal. 100,000 users participated, 10,000 creative proposals, and 100 car-making partners. This is scary enough.

What's even more amazing is that the internationally renowned fashion designer Lawrence Xu and pianist Wan Jie Ni were invited to join the co-creation, which is really high-end. The needs of users are directly fed back into product development, which is the real user thinking.

💰 The pricing strategy is very particular

The price range of 400,000 to 800,000 yuan can be said to be very particular. It is much cheaper than Alpha, but not too low, which keeps the brand tone. This price is just right, neither too expensive to be prohibitive, nor too cheap to be low-grade.

🔍 Analysis of competitors in the same class

Currently, the main competitors in the same class on the market are Denza D9, Zeekr 009 and Lantu Dreamer. But to be honest, Star Era E08 has advantages in configuration and space. Especially the co-creation plan, which is to directly put user needs into the car, which is a really high trick.
