VOYAH Surpasses 20,000 Monthly Deliveries for the First Time: A High-End EV Brand Coming of Age by Asiautos Auto Parts (VOYAH Aftermarket/genuine Parts Expert)

In the final stretch of China’s 14th Five-Year Plan, the country’s high-end new energy vehicle (NEV) sector has welcomed a remarkable milestone. VOYAH, the premium electric brand under Dongfeng Motor, has achieved its highest monthly delivery volume since its inception—20,005 vehicles in November, marking an 84% year-on-year increase. This breakthrough also represents the brand’s 10th consecutive month of month-on-month growth, coinciding with its 300,000th vehicle rolling off the production line and the successful launch of its new flagship SUV, the VOYAH Taishan.

For a premium EV brand established just five years ago, such sustained momentum is rare. VOYAH’s accelerated rise has become a vivid reflection of China’s state-owned enterprises pushing into the high-end NEV segment under the 14th Five-Year Plan. What lies beneath VOYAH’s rapid ascent? The answers emerge from three dimensions: speed, quality, and user trust.


I. Deep Industrial Foundations: A Dual-Drive Model of Self-Development and Open Innovation

Since unveiling its brand strategy in July 2020, VOYAH has operated in the fiercely competitive RMB 200,000–500,000 premium EV market. In just five years, VOYAH has built a full-category premium product lineup—SUV, MPV, and sedan—becoming the first Chinese high-end NEV brand to achieve complete-category mass production.

1. Building Core Technologies from the Ground Up

Backed by Dongfeng Motor’s 50+ years of manufacturing expertise, VOYAH continues to follow a self-controlled, full-stack R&D strategy. Its technological system is anchored by five major pillars:

  • ESSA, China’s first native intelligent electric architecture supporting BEV, EREV, and PHEV on a single production line

  • LanHai Power, integrating 800V high-voltage systems, 5C ultra-fast charging and large battery packs for long range, fast charging, and high safety

As of September 20, 2024, VOYAH has filed more than 5,000 patents, with 1,668 granted—including 1,141 invention patents—covering intelligent connectivity, new energy systems, ADAS, vehicle safety, and more. It stands among the fastest-growing innovators in the NEV field.

To meet surging demand, VOYAH’s Golden Factory and Yunfeng Factory employ highly digitalized and flexible manufacturing, enabling:

1. VOYAH Dreamer: Champion of China’s Premium MPV Market

  • Industry-leading Net Promoter Score

  • Average transaction price exceeding RMB 400,000

  • Cumulative deliveries surpassing 150,000 units

The 2026 VOYAH Dreamer is the only MPV in its class equipped with 800V high-voltage fast charging, 5C ultra-fast charging, a 62.5 kWh battery, ADS 4, HarmonyOS 5, and rear-axle steering. It achieved over 10,000 orders within 18 hours of launch. The new Dreamer “Shanhe Edition” further elevates the segment with superior intelligent driving and luxury features.

2. SUV “Twin Stars”: VOYAH FREE+ and the All-New Zhiyin

  • VOYAH FREE+ secured 11,583 firm orders within 15 minutes of release and remains in the top three of the RMB 200,000–300,000 hybrid SUV segment

  • VOYAH Zhiyin reached 3,000 orders within the first 12 minutes and now leads China’s RMB 200,000 premium pure-electric segment

3. VOYAH Taishan: China’s First SUV with Top-Tier Three-Chamber Air Suspension

Equipped with a world-class three-chamber air suspension—rated among the top five globally—VOYAH Taishan achieved 10,000 pre-orders within 21 minutes.

4. True User Co-Creation

VOYAH established a dedicated User Co-Creation Committee to integrate users’ real voices into product design, configuration decisions, and experience optimization. Many popular features on VOYAH vehicles originated directly from user input.
