2027 EXEED LINGYUE Officially Launched from RMB 149,900
The 2027 EXEED LINGYUE, also known as the EXEED VX, was officially launched in China on September 1.
Larger Body and Updated Exterior Options
The overall exterior design of the 2027 EXEED LINGYUE remains largely unchanged.
It continues to feature EXEED's large horizontal front grille and distinctive full-width eagle-wing-style rear taillights.
The new model measures 5,010 mm in length, with a 2,900 mm wheelbase. Compared with the previous 2025 model, which was 4,970 mm long, the new vehicle has been extended by 40 mm.
A new Bamboo Grey exterior color has also been introduced.
The top petrol version can be equipped with a black styling package, while the four-wheel-drive version can also choose a blacked-out package, replacing the previous chrome decoration with dark black trim.
Three-Screen Interior and 23-Speaker Audio System
Inside the cabin, the 2027 EXEED LINGYUE receives significant upgrades.

Improved Comfort for All Three Rows
Comfort is another major focus of the new model.
The front seats now offer multiple electric adjustments, massage functions, lumbar support and leg rests.
The second-row seats are also upgraded with seat cushion and backrest heating and ventilation.
On the six-seat version, the second-row seats additionally feature massage functions.
The plug-in hybrid version now comes standard with a hands-free power tailgate, allowing users to open the trunk by simply sweeping their foot underneath the rear bumper.
EXEED has also optimized the transmission calibration to improve the shifting smoothness compared with previous versions.
Upgraded Air Conditioning and Safety
The new EXEED LINGYUE also pays more attention to rear-seat comfort.
The rear heating system can direct warm air toward the upper body of passengers more effectively. According to the manufacturer, human thermal comfort has been improved by more than 35%.
The cabin air filter has been upgraded to a PM0.3 specification, while EXEED also introduces a healthier cabin concept with low-formaldehyde interior materials.
In terms of safety, an optional premium package can increase the number of airbags from 6 to 10, adding:

2.0T + 8AT Petrol Powertrain
The petrol version continues to use a 2.0T turbocharged engine.
It produces:

The engine is paired with an Aisin 8-speed automatic transmission.
Four-wheel-drive versions use the BorgWarner sixth-generation AWD system, with a claimed switching response time of approximately 120 milliseconds.
This combination provides strong performance while maintaining the practicality required from a large family SUV.
Plug-In Hybrid Version with 920 Nm of Torque
The C-DM plug-in hybrid version uses a combination of:
1.5T GDI Hybrid Engine + Three Electric Motors + 3-Speed DHT
The system delivers a remarkable 920 Nm of combined torque.
Acceleration from 0–100 km/h takes only 5.8 seconds.
The CLTC-rated pure electric range reaches 175 km, while the total combined range is claimed to reach 1,300 km.
Fuel consumption under a depleted-battery condition is rated at approximately 6.92 L/100 km.
This gives the plug-in hybrid version a strong balance between performance, electric driving capability and long-distance practicality.
Advanced Driver Assistance
The 2027 EXEED LINGYUE also receives upgraded intelligent driving functions.
The top petrol version is equipped with 32 advanced ADAS functions, supported by 5 cameras and 16 radar sensors.
It can provide L2-level highway navigation assistance, with the system covering high-speed and express roads across 243 cities in China.
The C-DM plug-in hybrid version comes with the same intelligent driving package as standard.
Can the New EXEED LINGYUE Revive Sales?
Despite its strong specifications, the previous EXEED LINGYUE faced considerable sales pressure.
In 2024, the model sold approximately 19,352 units in China, averaging around 1,600 units per month.
After the 2026 model was introduced in August 2025, monthly sales temporarily increased, reaching 779 units in August and 586 units in September.
However, sales subsequently declined again. In 2026, monthly sales generally remained in the low hundreds, with sales falling to only 62 units in June.
The 2027 model therefore arrives at an important time for EXEED.
Rather than making only cosmetic changes, EXEED has focused on pricing, comfort, safety, intelligent driving and powertrain upgrades.
RMB 149,900 Makes the Biggest Difference
The most eye-catching feature of the new model is its price.
The previous 2025 model started at around RMB 193,900, while the 2027 model's limited-time promotional price starts at only RMB 149,900.
That represents a reduction of more than RMB 40,000 compared with the previous starting price.
At this price level, the EXEED LINGYUE offers a combination of over 5 meters of body length, a 2,900 mm wheelbase, powerful engines, advanced equipment and a spacious three-row interior.
Compared with traditional competitors such as the Toyota Highlander and Honda Avancier, the EXEED LINGYUE offers a significant price and equipment advantage.
