Recently, real-world images of the Qin L DM-i Long-Range Version surfaced online, offering an early look at the new model. While the overall design remains largely unchanged, the vehicle receives notable upgrades in wheels, technology, comfort features, and—most importantly—electric driving range, which has been extended to 210 km. The official launch is expected on January 8.
Exterior: Familiar Design with Sportier Details
From the dealer photos, the 2026 Qin L DM-i Long-Range Version continues the current model’s design language. The aggressive, forward-leaning front end features BYD’s signature “Dragon Beard Chasing the Sun” LED headlights, connected by a blacked-out trim strip that enhances visual width and impact.
The large “dragon-mouth” front grille is filled with dot-matrix chrome elements, adding depth and sophistication. Combined with C-shaped air intakes on both sides and a prominent chrome front splitter, the front fascia delivers a strong sporty presence.
Side and Rear: New Wheels, Enhanced Visual Quality
The side profile retains its fastback-style roofline, while chrome window trim has been added for a more refined appearance. A key update is the adoption of new 17-inch dual-tone, double five-spoke alloy wheels, which pair especially well with the “Weiyang Grey” exterior color, giving the car a more premium look.
At the rear, a subtle ducktail spoiler continues to emphasize sportiness, while the rear bumper features an exaggerated black diffuser design.
