01BYD Auto

The real first year of BYD's overseas passenger car business started in 2021. The three-year overseas road can be described in one word: fast. 

In 1998, BYD established its first overseas branch in the Netherlands, starting its early overseas battery and electronics business. 

In 2010, it proposed the "electrification of urban public transportation" strategy, starting the overseas business of new energy commercial vehicles. 

In 2020, BYD and Hino jointly developed BEV. BYD reached a cooperation with Norwegian dealer group RSA to sell a number of pure electric models including Tang EV. 

In 2022, it accelerated the development of multiple regions such as Europe, Asia-Pacific, and the Americas, and the market was rapidly promoted, from product overseas to production line overseas. 

In 2024, BYD officially announced that it would become the official travel partner of the 2024 European Cup. BYD has entered 99 countries and regions around the world, and the cumulative overseas sales of passenger cars have exceeded 410,000 units.

02Geely Automobile

In 2002, Geely Auto began to enter the international market and exported its products to overseas markets for the first time.

In 2010, Geely Auto acquired 100% of the shares of Sweden's Volvo Car Corporation for US$1.8 billion, becoming the first Chinese company to own an internationally renowned automobile brand.

In 2017, Geely Auto officially entered the US market and became the first Chinese company to sell its own brand of cars in the United States.

In 2020, Geely Auto's global sales exceeded 10 million vehicles.

In 2024, Geely will launch 16 new models in more than 40 countries overseas, with a layout in nearly 80 countries and regions, and more than 900 overseas sales and service outlets.

03Dongfeng Motor

Dongfeng's overseas expansion has begun to gain momentum. Last year, its overseas activities became more frequent. This year, it depends on Lantu and Mengshi.

In 2022, Lantu Auto announced its entry into the European market, becoming the first overseas brand of the new energy national team.

In 2023, Lantu FREE will start delivery in Norway, an important step for Lantu to open up overseas markets. 

In 2024, Dongfeng Mengshi MS600 pickup truck will be exported to relevant countries and regions in the Americas. Lantu Auto held a grand press conference in Italy. Lantu released the Let's VOYAH "Lantu Together" overseas expansion strategy. Dongfeng commercial vehicle products entered the Mexican market.

04 SAIC MG

MG, a century-old brand, has been settled in China for 20 years. This may be the so-called "inheritance" of the combination of Chinese and Western cultures. 

In 2007, the MG brand settled in China and was owned by SAIC in 2007, becoming the first global brand owned by Chinese people.

In 2022, MG4 EV was launched, the first truly global car in China's automobile industry and the top seller of compact pure electric vehicles in Europe. The first Chinese pure electric vehicle with monthly overseas sales exceeding 10,000, the first in compact pure electric sales in Europe in 2023, and won the annual model grand slam in the UK, France, Germany and Australia.

In 2023, the world's first convertible electric sports car MG Cyberster was launched and praised by authoritative overseas media. The first Chinese mass-produced car to be dynamically unveiled at the Goodwood Festival of Speed.

In 2024, MG celebrated the 100th anniversary of the brand at the Goodwood Festival of Speed, "the world's most prestigious top automotive event", and continued its legendary history.
