At the 2024 Chengdu Auto Show, Avita's third strategic model, Avatr 07, made its global debut. The new car is positioned as a mid-size SUV and will start pre-sale in the third quarter, and is expected to be launched in September. In terms of competitors, the new car is targeting Tesla's MODEL Y.

In terms of design, the new car adopts the "Future Elegance" design concept of the Avatr family, which is similar to the design style of the two predecessors of the family. In the front part, the pure electric version will be equipped with active air intake grille technology, which will be closed when driving at high speed to reduce air flow into the front cabin, thereby reducing air resistance, which can effectively reduce wind resistance by 0.020Cd and increase the endurance by about 12km. Its side has smooth body lines, and the thick and short C-pillar makes the whole car look quite special. The tail is still the individual design style of Avatr, with narrow and long taillights and three-dimensional lines, which is very unique. In terms of interior, the new car adopts a four-screen layout, a 15.4-inch floating central control screen, a 35.4-inch integrated remote screen and two electronic exterior rearview mirrors. The overall look is very sci-fi, which is also the consistent tone of the Avatr brand. It is reported that Avatr 07 will also adopt Huawei's latest Hongmeng 4 system, and the cockpit intelligence level and interactive experience will be upgraded again.

In terms of configuration, Avatr 07 is equipped with a 25-speaker British Treasure audio system, and also has Huawei AUDIO Vivid, which brings excellent audio-visual enjoyment.

The interior of the new car provides two theme colors, both of which adopt a double-pinyin design. The entire interior of the car is made of large-area soft materials. The instrument panel, the entire door panel, the armrest, the center console and the B-pillar surface are made of large-area soft materials comparable to the softness of leather. The soft material covers an area of ​​more than 10 square meters. In terms of intelligent driving, the new car will be equipped with Huawei Qiankun Intelligent Driving ADS 3.0 system, which has a 192-line laser radar, which can realize intelligent driving from parking space to parking space, allowing users to experience more human-like full-scene through intelligent driving one step ahead of others.

In terms of power, Avatr 07 will provide extended-range and pure electric versions. The extended-range version is equipped with a new generation of 1.5T extended-range dedicated engine with an engine power of 115kW and an engine thermal efficiency of 44.39%. The two-wheel drive version is equipped with a single motor with a maximum power of 231kW, and the four-wheel drive version is equipped with a front/rear dual motor of 131kW and 231kW, and uses a lithium iron phosphate battery pack with a capacity of 39.05kWh, corresponding to the CLTC pure electric range of 230km (two-wheel drive) and 220km (four-wheel drive).

For pure electric models, the maximum power of the two-wheel drive version of the electric motor is 252kW, and the maximum power of the front/rear motor of the four-wheel drive version is 188kW and 252kW respectively. Both the two-wheel drive and four-wheel drive versions are equipped with lithium iron phosphate battery packs provided by CATL, with pure electric ranges of 650km and 610km respectively.

It is reported that the Avatr07 has a dual-in-one die-cast body + CTV battery body integration technology, strong rigidity, and at the same time optimized chassis, all-aluminum chassis + air suspension + CDC + hydraulic bushings and other hardware and new tuning, bringing a high-end and textured driving experience.
