Living Up to Expectations: Galaxy M9 Monthly Sales Climb to 10,639 Units
Competition in China’s new energy vehicle (NEV) market in 2025 has become extremely intense. In addition to BYD’s Ocean Series and Chery’s Fengyun lineup, another fast-rising force is the Galaxy brand under Geely Auto Group. These brands share a common strategy: focusing on affordable family-oriented vehicles. Popular models such as the Seal 05 DM-i, Fengyun A9L, Sea Lion 05 EV, Galaxy A7, and Xingyao 8 have all achieved rapid growth thanks to their attractive design and high cost-performance ratio.
Among them, the Geely Galaxy M9 has quickly stood out. In just its second month after launch, the model surpassed the 10,000-unit monthly sales milestone, with market attention continuing to rise. It has clearly demonstrated the potential and momentum of a “dark horse” in today’s fiercely competitive auto market, and its future prospects are widely viewed with optimism.

Product Positioning & Powertrain
Positioned as a mid-to-large-size SUV, the Galaxy M9 was officially launched in mid-September this year. It is equipped with a 1.5T engine combined with an electric motor, forming a plug-in hybrid system. Both two-wheel-drive and four-wheel-drive versions are available.
The model offers CLTC pure electric driving ranges of 100 km, 210 km, and 230 km, while the WLTC fuel consumption in battery-depleted mode is as low as 5.6 L/100 km. It supports fast charging as well as vehicle-to-load (V2L) external power discharge, enhancing daily usability.
Exterior Design
As a key strategic model in the Galaxy lineup, the Galaxy M9 features a closed-off front design. Combined with the daytime running lights, headlamp clusters, air guides, and air intakes, the front fascia delivers a modern and visually appealing look.
The rear design mirrors the simplicity of the front, highlighted by a full-width LED taillight strip, creating a clean appearance with well-defined layers and strong visual recognition.

With a body length of 5,205 mm and a wheelbase of 3,030 mm, the Galaxy M9 adopts a six-seat layout, offering generous interior space. The cabin is extensively covered with soft-touch materials, enhancing overall comfort and perceived quality.
