MG HS 2024 Hybrid is unveiled in UK Woodgood Fesitval of Speed this week.
The MG HS 2024 petrol version is equipped with a new generation 1.5T petrol engine with 125kW/275Nm, and accelerates from 0 to 100km/h in 9.4 seconds. Among them, the HS SE with a standard 6-speed manual transmission is priced at £24,995, and the HS Trophy with a 7-speed dual-clutch transmission is priced at £27,495. The petrol version is expected to be delivered at the end of July.
The plug-in hybrid model is equipped with a 105kW 1.5-liter gasoline engine and a 154kW motor, and accelerates from 0 to 100km/h in just 6.8 seconds. The 24.7kWh large-capacity battery can bring a pure electric range of 120 kilometers. The plug-in hybrid version of the MG HS also has two versions, the SE PHEV is priced at £31,495, and the HS Trophy PHEV is priced at £33,995). These two models are scheduled to be launched at the end of September.
The new MG HS has a more refined appearance, a longer wheelbase, and a larger interior space. The cargo space has increased by 44 liters compared to the previous generation, with a maximum capacity of 507 liters. Compared with the previous generation, the new car has a 14mm increase in width to 1890mm; a 45mm increase in length to 4655mm (of which the plug-in hybrid version is 4670mm long); a 30mm decrease in height, and a 45mm increase in wheelbase to 2765mm.
The car is equipped with a dual screen consisting of two 12.3-inch high-definition display screens, supporting Android Auto and Apple CarPlay car-machine interconnection protocols. The top-of-the-line gasoline version also comes standard with a new 360° surround view camera and a mobile phone wireless charging system. Compared with the current European market of the same price, the configuration of the new generation of MG HS is absolutely "full".
